Beliefs.

The Bible is the inspired Word of God, the sole infallible guide for faith and life.

Humans are saved by God’s grace, received through personal faith in Jesus Christ, not by good works or merit.

Belief in Jesus Christ as the eternal Son of God, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin, crucified, resurrected, and ascended.

The belief in one true God, who is a trinity of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Each local church is independent and self-governing, with no central hierarchical authority.
A core Baptist distinctive is the baptism of professing believers (not infants) as an outward sign of an inner commitment to Christ.
The belief that each person is responsible and accountable to God for their own faith and actions, without the need for human mediation.
A strong conviction for religious freedom, including the separation of church and state, ensuring faith is a personal, uncoerced choice.
